Introduction

Python is an open-source general-purpose programming language. It is a powerful language that can be used for the purpose of stimulus presentation (see OpenSesame and PsychoPy that both use Python) or analysis. 

Availability, support and advice

Python 3 comes preinstalled on all lab computers (see the Software List to check which version). Python can be installed on your work PC using the Software Center in Windows. For unmanaged or personal computers, it can be downloaded here.
