Cinemachine

Strictly speaking, in VR creation you will have little to do with Cinemachine. This package is designed for advanced and cinematic camera control, whereas in VR you (really!) want to keep your camera fixed from the HMD point of view.

However, this package can still be very useful for when you want to create an overview-shot for your researchers, for instance. In this case, you can allow the researcher (via tablet or PC) to control one of the Cinemachine virtual cameras. You can even set up multiple virtual cameras: some follow the HMD (same as the participant is experiencing), where others follow the character  from a 3rd-person-perspective, and others still can show images similar to a CCTV would do.
